Already have a donor-advised fund? You can recommend a grant to the Columbia Gorge Skating Association from Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or any other DAF sponsor. Use the information below when you submit your grant recommendation.

How to recommend a grant
Sign in to your DAF sponsor’s grant portal (Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, etc.), search for our legal name or EIN, and submit your recommendation.
- Search your DAF for “Columbia Gorge Skating Association”
- Or enter our EIN to find us directly
- Add “The Gorge Ice Rink” in the purpose / designation field
Fund your DAF with stock
You can contribute appreciated stock or other securities directly to your DAF, then recommend a grant to CGSA. This is one of the most tax-efficient ways to give — you avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation and receive a fair-market-value deduction.
- Transfer long-held appreciated stock to your DAF
- Your DAF sponsor liquidates the shares tax-free
- Recommend a grant to CGSA from the proceeds
